Dividend reinvestment calculator
Shows what buying more with each dividend adds up to, and how far the yield on your own cost rises.
Works out what a dividend holding becomes when each payout buys more of it. Price growth, dividend growth and reinvestment stack, so the curve steepens the further out it goes. The quoted yield is measured against today's price and so barely moves, but measured against what you paid it keeps climbing — that figure is shown too.

These are rough figures as at mid-2026. Yields move with the share price and change daily, so check the real figure yourself. Tapping one fills in the yield and the tax rate — it is not a recommendation to buy anything.

Yield on cost is the dividend measured against what you paid, not what the share costs today. The headline yield stays where it is however long you hold; this one climbs as the dividend grows. Starting at 3.5%, after 20 years it reaches 13.81%.

This assumes the yield, the dividend growth and the share price growth are the same every year. Real dividends can be cut or stopped, and prices move both ways. In Korea, financial income above ₩20m a year is taxed on the combined-income schedule instead, which changes this calculation. Exchange rates are not included. For reference, not a recommendation to invest.

Common questions
QWhat is yield on cost (YOC)?
How much dividend you receive measured against what you paid. The quoted yield divides by today's price, so it stays flat as the price rises; what you paid never changes, so as the dividend grows this figure climbs. It is the number long-term dividend investors actually watch.
QHow is tax handled?
Korean-listed holdings pay 15.4% dividend tax (14% income tax plus 1.4% local tax); US shares are withheld 15% at source. The default here is 15% and you can change it. Above ₩20m of financial income a year the amount falls under global taxation and this calculation no longer applies.
QCan I assume the dividend keeps growing?
It is only an assumption. Real dividends can be cut or stopped. A long record of increases is no guarantee of more. Try lowering the growth rate and looking again.
QIs the exchange rate included?
No — everything is in won. For a US dividend payer, what arrives in won moves with the exchange rate.
QAre the yields shown in the bubbles accurate?
They are rough. A yield is the dividend divided by the price, so it moves every day. These are approximate mid-2026 levels to one decimal place, there to give you a starting point — check the real figure yourself. They are not fetched automatically because Korean dividend data originates with the Korea Securities Depository under a licence that forbids commercial use, and this site carries advertising.
