The rules were measured, not guessed
Whether a puzzle really is easy, or whether a board can be solved at all, is invisible on screen. So the rules live apart from the display and were run tens of thousands of times. All 120 generated sudoku had exactly one solution, the 15 puzzle's solvability test agreed with brute force across all 362,880 arrangements of the 8-puzzle, and minesweeper's first square never hit a mine in 10,000 boards.
Records stay on this device
Best scores and fewest moves go into browser storage and are never sent anywhere. Open a game on another device and it starts fresh; clear your browser data and it goes. That is also why there is no leaderboard.
Only games with nothing to claim
The 15 puzzle is an 1880s toy, the Tower of Hanoi dates to 1883, and bulls and cows predates computers. 2048's original is freely licensed, and the rules of minesweeper, brick breaker and snake belong to nobody — no one else's artwork or names are used.

Common questions
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
All free, no account, nothing to download. Everything runs in the browser.
Do they work on a phone?
Yes. Swipe to play 2048, the 15 puzzle and snake; long-press to flag in minesweeper; drag the bat in brick breaker. Minesweeper's intermediate board does get small — about 21px a square on a narrow screen.
My records disappeared.
They only exist in this browser. Clearing browser data, using a private window, or opening the page on another device or browser starts you over.
Will there be more games?
When there is something worth adding. What gets built is chosen by measuring whether people actually look for it — a familiar name often turns out to be searched by people who are not looking for a game at all.
